What Are You Optimistic About?
Anticipation over whether a year’s body of work will be recognized can make for some nail-biting moments at an awards show. Smiles abound, but are they hiding a pragmatic acceptance that perhaps the shiny statuette onstage will go to the other nominee? Or is the room spilling over with optimism? In either case, Energy Times thought an awards show might be a pretty good place to gauge optimism.
